about us

Who we areSOE is a historic preservation and reality capture studio that partners with forward-thinking clients to solve problems in the space between cultural heritage and technology.
Andre & Halley started SOE in 2017 to address challenges in the field of Historic Preservation using the latest digital tools such as 3D laser scanning, photogrammetry, fact based modeling, augmented reality, and digital fabrication. Both are graduates of Columbia University’s Historic Preservation Program, and while receiving their Master of Science degrees they trained in digital scanning at Factum Foundation based in Madrid, Spain. They've also worked together on projects in the Middle East and Europe.
our missionSOE's mission is to advance the preservation of cultural heritage through innovative technology. We believe that emerging digital tools inform a new paradigm of historic preservation that deepens our understanding and enriches our experience of cultural heritage.
